Another Ring Remix-Lapis Pendant

I have talked about this before a few posts back, one of my specialties is to re-design old jewellery into something more suited to you. Rather than just melting down the jewellery like a lot of places do (though I can do that as well) I often change the jewellery into something new and interesting! This is great for things that have sentimental value, as you can still see details of the original piece in the new piece. I recently made a 2 tone pendant out of 2 rings. One ring had a lovely lapis stone in it, and the other had a tigers eye and was set in a gold ring that was broken. I redesigned these rings into this pendant! I added some sterling silver for a 2 tone look, and there is still some gold leftover for a future project for the client.

One Of A Kind Show - Christmas 2011

Hello Blog!
I'm sorry I have neglected you. I have been so busy the past while running the business that I have not paid enough attention to my dear blog. I am going to try my very best to be a regular poster on here.
Even though it happened a couple of months ago, I participated in this past christmas' One of A Kind Show!
This was the biggest show I have ever done, and also the most fun and successful!! My booth looked fantastic, and I made so many great new friends and customers. I want to do some blog posts here in the future about some of my favorite vendors, but for now I will share some photos of my set up!

Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition 2011

It's a bit late, but I've been busy the past month or so since the Toronto Outdoor Art Exhibition. Thank you so much to everyone that came by to visit, and all my fantastic customers.

The show went fantastic! I had a wonderful spot, a corner booth. It was sooooo hot the three days of the show, but I can't complain because other years it has rained. I met a lot of great people, made lots of sales, and came up with ideas for new work. All in all a fantastic and successful weekend. Below are some photos of the set up. This was my third year in a row doing this show, and I can't wait until next year. I focused a lot of my energy on making the Fleur Pearl, and Helios collections that consist of me hand hammering and forming fine silver, and then giving them strength and stability with sterling silver. Many of these pieces featured freshwater pearls and gemstones. Because each piece is hammered and formed individually each piece is really one of a kind. I will be adding more of these designs to my online shop soon.
